ME!!!

Mrs Song and The Chinese Dance Members

AOA Project is due this week so need to work faster to finish it. Actually I am finishing already now left touching up and burning it into CD-R. My printer was spoilt so I can't scan my stuffs luckily xiao gu's printer can be used so I brought my stuffs there to be scan. Thanks alot for the help =) And I dug out the past Chinese Dance pictures and I find that we have all changed alot since then and I found a picture of me when I was around 4 years =)

Wow the 'F4's =)

Today is my turn for the Career Development Programe (CDP) and so are the others like Ifa,Kavitha,Amy,Gary and more. We all wore formal clothing to school today. I brought wedges and change in the class as it hurts quite a bit so I can't really walk far with the shoe on. I was the third one to do, actually it is just a fake interview conducted by my HR teacher and marks are given according to your attire and how well you answer his questions. Luckily I did it today some of my classmates couldn't do it as there is not enough time. It's so troublesome for them to wear the formal wear again. And of course pictures are taken =)

Thursday our class went for the Adam Khoo's workshop about relationships the guy who gives the speech was called Freddy and he was here before for another Adam Khoo's workshop in our first year. The talk was overall ok as the things he said was quite similar to the previous ones. Yesterday during AOA Lessons we girls are sitting at the back chit-chating and doing psychology tests by the magazines. Then the AOA teacher came and say that since we have nothing to do we can help her sweep the floor. So we have to sweep. So a lesson that we learn is if we want to talk be discreet so teacher will not notice. Haha just kidding only =p I wanna thanks Wan Ting for the Korea Version Hana Yori Dango Poster she have given me =) Mon is my turn for CDP and i will be wearing formal clothes =) Jia You to me and the others =)

Make-Up Done (Purple Eye Shadow and Blue Eye Liner with Foundations and Blusher)

Today lesson was actually from 8am to 11am but 3 of us which includes Michelle and Wan Ting. We had a workshop at the student hub so we skip AOA Lessons and we went for the workshop. There are a total of 3 trainers all from different companies but all are image consultant companies. The first lady was from Imago Image and her name was Ms Denise Ng she is the President Elect of the company. She started by introducing herself then she goes on teaching us Etiquette and how to show your confidence. We learn the correct form and manners with an international perspective, both verbal and non-verbal courtesies including greetings and introductions, social conversation, making requests, thanking and apologies. The next speaker was Serene Teo she teaches us Table Manners and she have brought a lot of samples to show us like Glasses,Plates,Forks,Knifes,Spoons,etc. All related to eating. She teaches us to differentiate between White Wine Glass and Red Wine Glass like white wine glasses is usually shorter than red wines and people usually drink white wine chilled while red wine at room temperature (Ard 18 degrees) and when go fine dinning all the 'Do's and 'Do Not' stuff. We learn how to peel prawns in properly by using fork and knife. Haha that was funny coz have to make sure it never flies out of the plate. And last but not least is Ms Audrey Quek she is formally Miss Singapore 1999 and she won the pretty mum award in 2007. She teaches us make-up and the steps in making up. Like first step we have to apply moisturiser,sun block,etc. Then after that put foundation etc. She is very detailed in teaching and she uses my face to show how to apply the eye shadow,etc she was very professional and i actually learn alot for her. Overall the workshop i find it very meaningful and fun in some ways. =) I will be helping out as packers on 27/02/09 together with Michelle.

More Pictures taken at the Science Centre

OMG!!!Where's my body??? (Haha)

Yesterday Bholee,Shu Feng and I went to Pizza Hut at Causeway Point to have our lunch.Then after that we went to Science Centre it was a sudden thing as we didn't prepare that we are going but Bholee say she is sick of shopping so we decided to go science centre.When we reach the science center it was about 4pm we bought the super value package which consists of Science Centre Admission Ticket + 1IMAX Movie Ticket it cost $12.80 in total. We choose the movie which starts at 4pm there are 2 choices of movies one is the "Wild Ocean" and the other is "The Alps" we chosse to watch the "Wild Ocean". After buying the ticket we quickly ran to the Omni-Theatre where the movie is been screen as the movie will be screen in around 10-15 mins time. As we were running towards the theatre we realised that there were no body around us except for some cleaners and we can hear our echos when we shouted. When we finally reach the theatre I was shocked as it was very quiet and cold,there is space ship like thingy there it was the simulator ride looks scary.Hehe so we waited for the person to check our tickets before we went in.When we finally get to go into the theatre I nearly faint on the spot it was super dark and there is not a single soul except the 3 of us.Luckily after a while there's a few people coming in but in total there were not more than 10 people in there.We were sat in the middle row.We lied down and started to watch the movie it lasted for about 40 mins.When the show ended it was like about 4.45pm so we quickly ran again towards the science centre hoping that we can finish exploring the science centre as it closes at 6pm.Once we are in the science centre we begin to feel like little kids as we can get excited over little things and get curious over almost everything. The Science Centre do not have much visitors as it is a weekday I guess.We didn't have enough time so we were like rushing through every part and we didn't leave till they started announcing that they are closing already and we have to leave. We took quite a lot of pics there. It was super fun we start planning our next outing and we are planning to go the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari together. Hope that day comes soon =)

Yesterday my Public Relations project member which includes (Eileen,Gary,Michelle,Amy,Ifa & I) we went to the bishan library to do our PR project. We went for lunch at Mcdonalds before going to the library. We went to the library at around 12+ and we end and leave at 5pm. We took alot of pics there as it was quite boring at times. Then after that I meet Shu Feng and we went Civic Library together. We took a lot of pics using her laptop and we also use the web cam to communicate with Bholee. It was a lot of fun. Today we went to library to do project again but it's at the school's student hub.

Yesterday 09/02/09 was Michelle's 20th birthday so 7 of us including Michelle we went to Pasta Mania at Bishan Junction 8 to have lunch and to celebrate her. We went after school, Kavitha, Eileen and I we ordered the Chicken Sausage Pasta. At first we thought it was tomato base pasta but it turn out to be super creamy and it tastes yucky. It was disgusting i just ate a few mouths as i really could not take it. Kavitha and Eileen was also complaining that the pasta tastes yucky. So if your ever go pasta mania please do not order Chicken Sausage, it's horrible. But the others were lucky as they ordered different pasta and it turns out alright. But nevertheless it was fun although the pasta was horrible. Haha =p We have taken quite a few pictures so enjoy it k!!!

Today is the start of the JPAE which stands for Joint Polytechnic Admission Exercise.It started at 10 this morning. I went and apply for it straight away just now hehe.In total we are allowed to apply for 5 poly courses.I applied for 3 NYP coures and 2 RP courses.I hope to get into NYP and the course i wish to study so people wish me luck =) I will work hard for the final semester to get enrolled in the poly.Jia you "Cheong Arh"

Yesterday was AOA last CA it was on excel,the paper was overall quite ok not that tough.So i hope i can get good marks.And now i must start doing the AOA project on the frontpage.Haiz.Must jia you lor,mon is the start of the JAPE (Application for poly) i will be at home online applying for poly.I hope that i can get into poly and continue studying. I must start working hard already.Jia you!!!

Yesterday, 01/02/09 to chinese it was "人日" which means it's everyone's birthday. So my family and my relatives we went to "六合园" a vegetarian restaurant to celebrate. The restaurant was full of people. We ate the new year package which cost $288++ and we ordered an additional of 2 dishes. We started the meal with the "鱼生" which was quite delicious. In total we ate around 10 dishes. I was super full after the meal, i felt bloated :)
